Welcome to Bustin Briars BlackCreek! Owned and Operated by Shane Yeggy. My goals are to raise and produce the hardest hunting, briar busting Medium to Upper Medium speed BlackCreek bred Beagles. My breeding goal is to produce hounds that have Aggressive hunt, Good Line Control, with the Brains and Gears to do what it takes to bring the rabbit back to the gun every time no matter what the scenting conditions may be. My dogs are based on Good Conformation, Aggressive Noses, Tight Check Work, Line Control and the famous head down fast chop mouth known to the BlackCreek breed. I have a small kennel cause I truly believe in "Quality over Quantity".
I am Located in Lecoma, Missouri. My dogs get gun hunted over every rabbit season and ran during the summer so there is no weak links in the dogs! I am all about staying true to the orginal breeding of the Blackcreeks as possible but yet try and tweek them just enought to how I like them without outcrossing. I have owned many other AKC dogs, "In-line Black Jack, Little Nip Otis, Junction Hill Skip and Wrights Little Deacon" and after seeing these BlackCreeks run I sold out and became a true hearted BlackCreek man. I'm not saying I have the best dogs in the country but am confident to say that they'll run the hair off a cotton tail with little down time and real tight check work.
